Privacy policy

topintern.lol is a public intern leaderboard. This policy describes what we collect and why. Contact: rapjj90@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Listing content you submit — name, LinkedIn or company URL, school, major, pitch, location. This is posted publicly. That is the product.
• Payment data — amount, time, and a Stripe payment/session id so we can rank you and prevent double-counting. Card numbers, tax, and receipts go through Stripe Managed Payments (Stripe is merchant of record), not to us.
• Anonymous use stats — a random session id in your browser, page views, and clicks on listings. We do not use this to identify you and we do not sell it.

What we do not collect

No accounts, no passwords, no date of birth, no government ID. Do not put a private email or phone number in a listing. If you do, it will be public.

Who we share with

Stripe Managed Payments processes charges and tax (Stripe is the merchant of record). Hosting and database providers (including the platform that serves this site) store listing and payment records so the board can load. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to stop fraud or abuse.

Cookies

We store a random session id and a theme preference in your browser so we can count unique watchers and remember dark mode. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels from us.

California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents can request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold, and can opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined by California law. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email rapjj90@gmail.com from an address we can reasonably associate with the listing (for example, the email used to pay). We may need to verify you before deleting a paid listing. Public board content that you chose to publish may remain visible until we remove that listing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Retention

Listings and payment totals stay as long as the board exists, because rank is lifetime spend. We may keep payment records as required for tax, accounting, and dispute handling. Anonymous session rows age out.

Children

The site is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor is listed, email rapjj90@gmail.com and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above will change when we do.
